神知道我的一切

我行路,我躺臥,你都細察;你也深知我一切所行的。(3節)

神深知道我的每一個舉動、每一個想念、每一個感觸;神知道我所做、所說的一切;神完全知道「我」。「我」是在神之內,神在「我」之內。在這一種共融之中,一切出於「我」的,神都深深地知道。

我沒有任何東西需要隱藏;我也沒有任何東西可以隱藏。我所自覺到的一切,也都是神所知道的。甚至連我都沒有自覺到的部份,神都知道。我以為我是最了解自己的,但神知道我自己也不知道的,不單是我自覺和記憶以來的人生經驗,也包括我的生命本源、我的生命依歸。我讓自己專注於現在,留意此刻的我是神所知道的。

現在讓我們在靜禱中體認「我」是在神之內,神在「我」之內。「我」的一切都是神深深地知道的。我們現在就放鬆,慢慢呼吸,心裡默念:「你深知我的一切。」把你的意識放在與神共融的當下。請開始。……

讀經:   

以賽亞書五十三章7至12節

7他被欺壓,在受苦的時候卻不開口(或譯:他受欺壓,卻自卑不開口);他像羊羔被牽到宰殺之地,又像羊在剪毛的人手下無聲,他也是這樣不開口。

8因受欺壓和審判,他被奪去,至於他同世的人,誰想他受鞭打、從活人之地被剪除,是因我百姓的罪過呢?

9他雖然未行強暴,口中也沒有詭詐,人還使他與惡人同埋;誰知死的時候與財主同葬。

10耶和華卻定意(或譯:喜悅)將他壓傷,使他受痛苦。耶和華以他為贖罪祭(或譯:他獻本身為贖罪祭)。他必看見後裔,並且延長年日。耶和華所喜悅的事必在他手中亨通。

11他必看見自己勞苦的功效,便心滿意足。有許多人因認識我的義僕得稱為義;並且他要擔當他們的罪孽。

12所以,我要使他與位大的同分,與強盛的均分擄物。因為他將命傾倒,以致於死;他也被列在罪犯之中。他卻擔當多人的罪,又為罪犯代求。

要我們默然忍受痛苦,絕不是易事。但基督為何要「受苦的時候卻不開口」呢(7節)?因為祂知道祂的受苦和受死,都是出於神的心意,因此祂便默然承擔。

祂要逃避痛苦其實並不困難,祂甚至可以在黑夜之中從客西馬利園溜走。那些前來捉拿祂的人,以致祂的門徒,對於祂的默然就範都顯然感到很難理解。

然而,基督是神的羔羊。正如羔羊不會反抗主人,基督也是在沒有呼救和抱怨的情況下面對死亡。祂是心甘樂意地被人帶走。

這章經文提供了許多有關祂受死的細節。第8 節告訴我們,祂所接受的審訊是何等不公。第9節指出,判祂死刑的人,原本打算將祂與其他一同釘十架的囚犯同葬,但最終,卻有一位有錢人將祂埋葬在他本人的墓穴中。事實亦一如預言所說的那樣發生。

第10和11節顯然是要表明祂要從死裡復活。留意第11節說,祂必看見自己勞苦的功效;唯有祂從死裡復活,祂才可以看見。

第12節指出,神必為祂的工作而賞賜祂。如果祂沒有復活,神又怎能賞賜祂呢?

這一章描述耶穌基督受死和復活的經文,是在事情發生前的600年,先知在聖靈的默示下寫成的。神的能力實在令人敬畏。

試用你的名字來代替經文中的「我們」,默想基督是何等愛你,甘願為你受苦和受死。

THE SERVANT'S ATTITUDE
Day 3


Bible Reading:   

Isaiah 53:7-12

7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

9 And they made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.

11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

Silence under suffering is not easy for humans. Why was Christ silent? (v. 7). Because he knew his suffering and death were all in the will of God and he accepted it as such.

He could easily have avoided being arrested. He could have slipped away in the darkness in the Garden of Gethsemane. Those who came to arrest him and even his disciples seemed to find it difficult to understand his quiet surrender.

His judges could not understand him either. Pilate could not believe that Jesus had nothing to say for himself. Herod was very disappointed in his silence.

But Christ was the Lamb of God. Just as a Iamb does not fight back so he quietly faced death without any cry or complaint. He said he was laying down his life. It was not being taken from him against his will.

There are many other details of his death given here in this chapter. Verse 8 tells us how wrong his trial would be. Verse 9 says his executioners would plan to bury him in a common grave with others who would be crucified at the same time. But this would not happen. Instead of being flung into a pit with others, a rich person would come and bury him in his own prepared grave. That is exactly what happened.

It is obvious from verses 10 and 11 that he would be alive after his death-in other words resurrection! Notice verse 11 says he would actually see the results of his own work. He could only do that if he were alive again.

In verse 12 God says he will give him great rewards for his work. How could this be true if he were not alive again after his death?

The whole chapter is a marvellous picture of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ written under the inspiration of the Spirit of God 600 years before it all happened. How wonderful is the power of God.

以弗所書

本書是保羅在羅馬獄中所寫的,約在主後六十二、三年之間。以弗所是亞西亞西邊近海的一個大商埠,保羅曾在那裡傳道三年,也曾遭很大的逼迫。本書總旨:基督的教會當有屬靈的合一。

重點: 在基督裡的屬靈福氣;保羅的禱告;信徒的合一;保羅對外邦人的使命。

鑰節: 使基督因你們的信,住在你們心裡,叫你們的愛心有根有基。(三17)

內容: 

愛的命令是不能守的,我們就是天天背誦基督愛的命令,也不能叫我們產生出愛來;因為愛的源頭是神,神就是愛。我們若要有愛心,要行出愛,唯一的辦法就是與愛的源頭連接上。

當我們與愛的源頭連接,與基督聯合,住在基督裡;基督也就住在我們裡面,我們便有愛心,我們的愛心便有根有基。

每一個基督徒在信主的時候,豈不都已有基督內住麼。然而保羅這裡所指的「心裡」,乃是人的內在自我,就是我們的個格。

每一個人的個格都很強,都惟我獨尊,自我為是。我們若要活出基督愛的命令,就要讓聖靈在我們裡面作工,叫我們裡面有位置讓給基督,甘心將自我的主權交給基督。

如何達至基督在我裡面掌王權?就是信。信就是承認自己無能而投靠主耶穌。當我們完全信靠主耶穌,主耶穌便進入我們裡面,將祂的愛澆灌我們,讓我們和眾聖徒一同明白基督的愛是何等長闊高深;神一切的豐盛也臨到我們,愛便在教會裡湧流。


默想: 聖靈所結的果子就是仁愛。若不被聖靈管治,能有愛嗎?

為何要有盼望?

 
羅馬書八章18-25節
 

「我們得救是在乎盼望…但我們若盼望那所不見的,就必忍耐等候。」(24-25節)

我曾是一名回教徒,但我常常都會看到基督徒去教堂做崇拜。雖然我不認識他們的神,但我卻不知為何被祂吸引;沒有人告訴我,祂就是道路,真理及生命,但我知道祂就是那唯一能讓我擁有盼望的。儘管不知道如何才好,我仍轉向了基督教,懷著盼望,並「…深信祂能保全我所交付祂的…」(提後一12)。祂並沒有失信於我,我亦相信祂永遠不會。

有時候,生命看起來好像不太公平,雖然聖經曾清楚指出,我們必定會遇見試探及磨難,但這些試探及磨難仍會在不知不覺中襲擊我們,使我們懷疑神在哪裡,或祂是否真的在我們中間。當我們嘗試對神懷著信心,並且努力進行所懂得的屬靈操練,但不知有多少次,我們仍遭受重擊,跌在地上。神啊,你在哪裡?我們在內裡不停的喊叫。其實,神一直都在我們的身邊,只是情況及環境令我們懷疑祂的存在。儘管身處在試探的環境中,我們仍必須懷著信心,堅信神必不會拋下我們,遺棄我們,這是我們對耶穌基督的盼望。儘管前路看不見,然而這盼望卻為我們塑造了一種看得見的性格素質,亦是耶穌基督親自為我們所展示的──忍耐及能吃苦。

雖然有時女人像有三頭六臂般能幹,但我們實在無謂花太多力氣為我們的缺點而悲嘆。對自己多一點憐憫吧,並謹記要將盼望放在耶穌基督身上,而不是在自己的能力上。

要將盼望放在耶穌基督身上,這句話對你有什麼意義呢?
